Foster Piano Tuning

Questions & Answers

Welcome to the frequently asked questions section

Question:
How often should a piano be tuned?

Answer:
In a home environment a piano should be tuned every four to six months. If the piano is not being used regularly this interval can be extended. However, to avoid the pitch of the piano dropping I would recommend that the interval between tunings does not exceed a year. A piano tuner will always be able to give the best advice about this matter after tuning the instrument.
